Keiba & LeisureReport Awards & Medway Business AwardOFS is a young and ambitious business which was founded in 2003 by Scott Hodson BSc (hons) and Ian Rumsey (software genius) who initially started the company to develop health and fitness software for the public and private sector.

 

This forward thinking team predicted that over the next 10 to 20 years the health, sport and leisure and industries would go through a technology boom where more and more people would be looking for innovative solutions in the health, sport and leisure industries.

 

OFS set about promoting the benefits which could be achieved by developing bespoke solutions and have gone from strength to strength gaining high profile clients and accolades for innovation.

 

OFS was very proud to have been finalists in the Kent Innovation Challenge in both 2006 and 2007 for the technologies they used to promote and enhance health, fitness and exercise, and scooped a Leisure Report Award in partnership with Shokk Tactics for the innovation award in 2008.

 

To underpin their progress and development into an industry leading company they were also finalists in the Kent Excellence in Business Awards (KEiBA) and the Medway Business Awards in 2009 whilst scooping the Interactive Media Award in 2010.

System Specification

We work closely with our clients to design their system from the ground up. Even if you have little more than a grand vision of your desired system our in-house project managers will architect the specification to the finest detail including bespoke research and algorithms if required.

 

Bespoke Software Design and Development

Whether you are after the latest Web 2.0 customer-focused website, or backend analysis tool our graphical designers and software engineers have got the experience to match. Our websites are standards driven and fully accessible, whilst our desktop software uses the latest Microsoft technologies to leverage performance.

 

System Integration

Not all projects are straightforward software-only deployments. Often there is a level of hardware integration required. For example we have delivered a member management solution with touch-screen kiosks and biometric user access controls.

 

Maintenance and Support

All of our systems come with a service agreement to meet your needs. Typically this will cover all necessary hardware and software maintenance, but can also be extended to cover first and second line technical support including telephone help desk.

 

Training

Whilst we endeavour to make our systems as user-friendly as possible it is inevitable that user training will be needed for any new and bespoke system. We can provide both the trainers and the location if required.
